Equality week in Year 1 WB 20.11.2017

This week we have been busy learning about sharing with halves and quarters. 

 To find a quarter of 8 pens we have to share them into 4 groups.

There are 2 pens in each group. So a quarter of 8 = 2 

We wrote captions to go with our images for our Mammoth Fact leaflets we have been creating in class.

For Equality Week we attempted some active tasks by: 

Stacking cups with one hand only. 

Writing our name with our foot. 

Guessing the object without using our eyes. 

Playing bottom basket ball - because we were not using our legs.

We made some thank you cards. 

Our Trip week 13.11.2017

We had such a fun week. 

We have been measuring: length, weight and time.
