24.6.16 Pictographs

Today the children used the computers to create a pictograph to present information in a more attractive way.  They were given data about some children's favourite snacks.  They then had to click and drag pictures to create their own pictograph.

Today we used colour magic to create lighthouse pictures.  We used the mouse to select tools we wanted to use to create our pictures. 
'This is tricky!' said Leanne.  The children created some lovely work. 

Outdoor Week

We had lots of fun during Outdoor Week.  We were focussing on team work so we had to work together. 
Our first activity was to make egg rockets.  We had to work as a team to create a rocket that would keep our egg passenger save inside the rocket when it was launched.

After that we worked with the SWAC team and learnt all about worms.  We also made a class wormery!

We then had fun working in teams to solve problems and puzzles.



Making spaghetti towers using marshmallows and orienteering  was so much fun!

27.5.16 Using the Keyboard type capital letters and edit.

We have learnt that the days of the week must begin with a capital letter.  Today we learnt how to use the keyboard to type capital letters.
