07.03.16 - Finding out information

We used the Internet today to do some research. 

We had to find out how certain fruit and vegetables grow as part of our DT topic. 

We used the search engine Google and typed in the question, 'how do strawberries grow?'

We then clicked on images so we could see pictures of whether they grow above or below the ground. 

04.03.16 - A Midsummer Night's Dream

We had such fun last week looking at Shakespeare's play 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'.

On Friday, we created our own masks and then did some role-play, acting out parts of the story.

We then had to freeze in a position which is called a freeze frame. 

As part of our computing lesson this week, we discussed how we can use technology to collect information. One way is by using a camera to collect photos. So we thought it would be a good idea to use the iPad to take pictures of each others freeze frames.

In literacy we've been reading the story 'Beegu'. We used the keyboard to type a sentence and then used the mouse to highlight the text and change the font into symbols like Beegu's language! We had lots of fun!
