If we want to be healthy we must clean our teeth.  Also we must avoid sweets and sugary drinks because they make will make your teeth rotten and you will get toothache!

To answer our Project Based Learning big question  'How can we stay happy and healthy?'  we have been thinking about the importance of sport and exercise.   Watch Sportacus doing some keep fit exercises.  Can you do them too?

Robert and Grace decided to make clay models of people playing football for their projects.
What should their next steps be to make their models even better?  They could watch this episode of 'Let's Play' on Cbeebies for ideas to add to their models.

Project Based Learning Homework

This week's homework is based on our project based learning question 'How can we stay happy and healthy?'.  
 
Choose to do one of the following in your homework book:

1) Write the heading ‘healthy food’ and the heading ‘unhealthy food’.  Draw or glue in pictures of foods that fit these descriptions.
2) Write about the hobbies you or people in your family do to stay happy and healthy.  You could draw pictures of these hobbies.
3) Write about what can happen if you do not make healthy food choices and you do not do exercise.

How can we stay happy and healthy?

Our 'Big Question' for our project based learning is 'How can we stay happy and healthy?'  We can choose how we would like to answer this question and we will present our answer at the festival of learning when we invite our Mums and Dads to come and see our work.

A terrible mess......

When we came to school this morning what a terrible mess greeted us! A monster had knocked over books and pencil pots leaving sticky green footprints everywhere. We collected all the evidence we could from the scene of the crime.  It was awful. Until we find the culprit everyone is on high alert.  Keep your eyes and ears open for clues year 1!
